Day 1

DAY 01: MEDAN ARRIVAL
Upon your arrival in Medan, pick up service by our guide team then transfer to your hotel in Medan for overnight. Free
time  at your own leisure after long flight from your country. Dinner at your personal account.

Day 2

DAY 02: MEDAN – BUKITLAWANG – JUNGLE – LODGE (B)
After breakfast then driving about more or less 3 hours or about 85 km way in some bumpy road plantation area passing
rubber and palm oil plantation. Upon your arrival in Bukitlawang, check in at the lodge and prepare for lunch as well as
continue for afternoon trek to the jungle after lunch.  It’s time looking for orangutan, Thomas Leaf Monkey, Siamang
Gibbon and many others. Back to the lodge for overnight.
Notes :
Please sort out your stuff you need during trekking and stay overnight at the jungle and the rest of the stuff you do not
need during the trek please store in the lodge and you can pick them up again after several day trek back to the lodge

Day 3

DAY 03: LODGE – JAMBUR BATU RIVER (B,L,D)
After breakfast,  we start trekking.  After a short walk you will enter the national park and pass the old orangutan
feeding area which is still highly popular with semi-wild orangutans. You will continue your trek through the rainforest
going deeper into the jungle while having a bigger chance to see wildlife there. While hiking up and down the hills
heading towards the west side of the national park your guide will point out different jungle habitants and plants species
for you while giving lots of explanation about the rainforest and its biodiversity. During trekking please keep your eyes
for spotting beautiful creatures you may encounter. Lunch is prepared by our guide team in the jungle In the late afternoon
around you will arrive at the charming Jambur Batu River next to a big waterfall where you will stay overnight at your
campsite. Now you can swim and relax and enjoy afternoon coffee and tea. Our team will prepare your jungle dinner of
local Indonesian fresh healthy food over an open campfire. Then you have the opportunity to play games, sing around
the fire or just look at the stars and review the first day of your trek. Tents, air-mattress, pillows and sleeping bags will
make your jungle sleep comfortable. Stay overnight at temporary jungle tent or doom tent in the jungle.

Day 4

DAY 04: JAMBUR BATU RIVER – LANDAK RIVER (B,L,D)
After breakfast, together with our jungle guide team will start a trek over 6 hours towards Landak River. You will trek
deeper in the jungle. While going deeper into the rainforest your chances of encountering wildlife will increase. The
terrain is steep, but the views will be spectacular. At noon your guides will prepare a simple jungle lunch on the top of a
hill. The fantastic scenery in the national park will be a memorable experience for you. The campsite for the second
night will be next to the big Landak River where you will arrive in the late afternoon. There is a big chance to see wild
orangutans and black gibbons. Our team will offer you an Indonesian fresh health dinner and refreshments before you
can dream to the sounds of nocturnal jungle life

Day 5

DAY 05: LANDAK RIVER – UNING (B,L,D)
After breakfast you will discover the deeper jungle while hiking further upstream along Landak River to Uning, a small
pond shaped by nature. If you are lucky you can spot the Sumatran tiger, deer, wild boar and other habitants of the
tropical rainforest. While the trek progresses you will become more and more used to building up the camp, preparing a
real jungle dinner and working together as a team. The third night you will spend at a campsite on Landak River. Enjoy
the evening at your jungle camp by playing cards or singing around the campfire with your guides. You will spend at least
2 days here for those who really love spotting wildlife.
PS : This place actually the ideal places to spot wildlife. It’s a place where all the animals gathering together. You can
spend some more days in “Uning” (or  the A mineral lick small ponds) where animals can go to lick essential mineral
nutrients from a deposit of salts and other minerals. Mineral licks can be naturally occurring or artificial (such as blocks
of salt that … Many animals regularly visit mineral licks to consume clay, supplementing their diet with nutrients and
minerals

Day 6

DAY 06: UNING – BOHOROK RIVER (B,L,D)

After breakfast, the next morning you keep trekking through the jungle, heading for Bohorok River for about 5 hours. In
the afternoon you can relax and swim at the campsite. If you are lucky you can observe the Sumatran monitor lizards,
tortoises and colourful river butterflies around the campsite. Being in the jungle at night is a completely contrasting
experience; there are different animals, different sounds and of course a sky full or stars. Meals prepared by our jungle

Day 7

DAY 07: BOHOROK RIVER – BUKIT LAWANG (B,L)
Free time enjoying the jungle. This is the start of a lazy day with waking up late, having breakfast, swimming or just
relaxing in the camp. Then it’s time to return to Bukit Lawang with 2.5 hours full of fun! Your “jungle taxi” will take you
back by traditional tube-rafting down the Bohorok River – a very special and exciting way to finish your trekking
adventure through the Sumatran jungle. Upon arrival in Bulit Lawang, check in at the lodge and pick up your stuffs you
leave in the lodge. Relaxing time

Day 8

DAY 08: BUKIT LAWANG – BERASTAGI (B)
Morning drives to Brastagi with enroute visit local market at Berastagi where locals sell and buy fruits, flowers, and
vegetables which are plenty on the vicinity of the town. A stop will be made at Gundaling Hill (view of Mt. Sinabung and
Sibayak). visit to Lumbini Natural park, a Buddhist temple located at Desa Dolat Rayat, Berastagi in North Sumatra.
Taman Alam Lumbiniis a replica of “Shwedagon Pagoda” in Yangon, Myanmar. The architecture is similar to a Thai
pagoda, covered in gold

Day 9

DAY 09: IN MORNING CLIMB TO SIBAYAK VOLCANO IS AN ACTIVE VOLCANO 2,172 M ABOVE THE SEA LEVEL –
PARAPAT – SAMOSIR (B)
(transport to top of the trail), the easiest way. Hiking can begin at Semangat Gunung village, about 15 Km from
Berastagi. It is estimated that hiking to the top takes 2 or 3 hours. Coming down via other trail through jungles, ending at
hot springs. After hiking rest at hot springs in midday and in afternoon drive to Parapat. After arriving in Parapat cross by
public ferry boat to Samosir Island. Overnight in Samosir.

Day 10

DAY 10: SAMOSIR TOUR (B)
Today we begin our touring in Samosir by car. First, we visit Ambarita, the villages where you can see the ancient
megalithic structures, among them the so-called “table cannibal”. The village was an important meeting place for
Sialagana King, who, as king, rescued her and restored order in all the villages, and villages Simanindo, which ends at the
North end of the island and is known as one of the best villages with traditional houses of Batak Toba. The village is a
museum Sidauruk King, there is a chance see dance performances village Toba Batak. Next visit to the island Koh Tao
and swimming in the serene waters of Lake Toba. Stroll the grounds, visiting souvenir shops. Then check one of the most
famous landmarks – the tomb of King Sidabutara, sarcophagus which is more than 200 years old. In the afternoon, we drive
back to hotel.

Day 11

DAY 11: SAMOSIR – PARAPAT – MEDAN (B)
You will be transferred from Parapat to Samosir by ferry and the car is going along with you by the same ferry. This
transfer based on sic and valid also for the return ticket from Samosir to Parapat
Today you will go from Parapat (Harbour) to Medan. On the way, you will drive past winding road with the view of
Samosir Lake before entering the hustle and bustle of the city of Medan. Various stops can be made along the way to
the destination.

Day 12

DAY 12: MEDAN – PADANG (B)
Today we will drive you to Medan airport to catch flight to Padang. Upon arrival at Minangkabau Airport of Padang, you
will be pick up by our local staff and directly transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free on your own leisure

Day 13

DAY 13: PADANG – MUARA SIBERUT (B,L,D) – SATURDAY
Morning transfer about 06:00 or 06:15 depending on your hotel to Muara Harbor for boarding at 07:00 AM in the morning,
sailing to Muara Siberut. Breakfast box provided. Arrival at Muara Siberut after about 03 Hours 15 minutes (direct fast
boating) or if transit in Sakabulian after 4 hours in the boat then 1 hour waiting for loading more passengers before
continuing about more or less 2 hours to Muara Siberut. depending on the waves and other sea circumstances. Upon arrival
in Muara Siberut collecting our luggage as well as our equipment and assisting by our local team transfer by Angkot
(Public Non AC car) to the harbor while all of us only carrying our day pack and valuable things with us while other stuff
goes straight to the harbor. While our local team makes a report to police station and we prepare your lunch at the the
local House village, then walk to the harbor about 5 minutes or more (depending 0n the place where we have lunch) for
boating by small motorized wooden boat about more or less 2 hours to reach the Mentawai tribe land .The journey
could be longer or shorter depending on the depth of water as well as the current in the river. Upon arrival at the
Mentawai Village land, we off board the canoe and manage our luggage and equipment. Our porters will be ready to
help us to carry out our stuff and together with us walking to the Uma Mentawai traditional house passing the muddy,
slippery single logs, sago tree plantation, jungle trek. Upon arrival at Local House, set our bedding while preparing the
dinner at Local house. Stay overnight at local house

Day 14

DAY 14: THE NATIVE’S VILLAGE (B,L,D)
After having breakfast exploring the daily activities of Mentawai Tribe such as: search of Sago worm or making sago
powder (as the main food of Mentawaian Tribe) or fishing or traditional loin cloths process or making poison for arrow
or visiting neighbor Uma.
Noted: The activity inside the village depend on availability on the spot

Day 15

DAY 15: THE NATIVE’S VILLAGE – TRADITIONAL CEREMONY (B,L,D)
After having breakfast exploring the daily activities of Mentawai Tribe such as: search of Sago worm or making sago
powder (as the main food of Mentawaian Tribe) or fishing or traditional loin cloths process or making poison for arrow
or visiting neighbor Uma. Join the traditional dances of Mentawai during the ceremonies in the evening.

DAY 16: NATIVE VILLAGE – MUARA SIBERUT – PADANG (B,L) – TUESDAY
Return back to Padang by Public fast Boat. Arrival in Padang transfer to hotel for overnight
