Day 1

Welcome to Serbia! At the airport in Belgrade look for DMC Balkans Travel & Events sign.
Meet with the guide and proceed with city tour. Belgrade city tour includes sightseeing the following sights: The Republic Square, the National theater and the National museum, Bohemian Quarter (Skadarlija), the oldest part of Belgrade with Ottoman heritage, the oldest residential house and museum of Serbian language, Kalemegdan park, Belgrade fortress, „Victor“ the most famous symbol of Belgrade, the confluence of the Sava and the Danube rivers, Saborna church, and Knez Mihailova street.

Day 2

Belgrade-Novi Sad-Belgrade-Sremski Karlovci B
After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart to Novi Sad. After a 1 hour and 30-minutes
drive we reach the Fortress. We’ll have a short walk and a tour of the fortress from which you will experience breathtaking view of the city.
After visiting the fortress, we go down to the city center where we go on-foot sightseeing to meet the city of Novi Sad. Rest of the day is free for individual activities.
Depart back to Belgrade for overnight.

Day 3

Belgrade-Sargan Train-Zlatibor B
After breakfast we drive to Mokra Gora. Mokra Gora meaning the Wet Mountain, is a village in Serbia on the northern slopes of mountain Zlatibor. Village become popular after a reconstruction of a narrow-gauge railway called Šargan Eight which is unique in the world. Railway that passes through 22 tunnels, over 5 bridges, and overcome the altitude difference of 300 meters, on a total distance of 15 kilometers, was once connecting Belgrade with Sarajevo. We will board the famous dinky train Nostalgia – created in old-time style, so you can feel that old atmosphere while sitting in its authentic cars with wooden seats, smelling fume from its wood burning stove and hearing the rumble of its wheels and go for a ride along the most exciting section of this narrow-gauge line. During the ride, the train makes a few stops so you can take some fabulous photographs and enjoy the views.

Day 4

Zlatibor -Manajisa and Ravanica Monasteries- Rasava cave, Waterfall veliki buk-Belgrade B The tour starts at 9.a.m. from your accommodation in Zlatibor. You will be impressed by the beautiful scenery, while you enjoy the drive to our stop – Manasija Monastery, located among the green hills of the vivid Resava gorge. It was built in early 15th century during the reign of Despot Stefan Lazarevic. The whole complex is
surrounded by 12 towers, constructed in order to protect Church of Saint Trinity from the Ottomans. The
Manasija monastery fortification, with its ramparts and towers, is the best-preserved fortification complex on the
territory of medieval Serbia. Due to its fresco paintings, which represent one of the greatest achievements of the
medieval Serbian art, monastery is believed to be a real jewel of Serbian medieval culture.
The tour proceeds to 80-million-year-old cave called Resava, which was discovered by local shepherd in 1962. Ten
years later, the cave was opened for the audience for the first time. Nowadays this is one of the most visited
caves in this part of Europe due to its richness of cave jewelry: stalagmites and stalactites. Total length of the
tunnels is 4.5 km. So far a bit more than 2 km were explored, and 800 m is accessible to visitors. The temperature
in the Resava cave is a constant 7°C all year round, with air humidity varying between 80 and 100%. The tour
around the cave will last for 40 minutes, so wearing warm clothes is recommended.
Afterwards we proceed to Lisine waterfall, one of Eastern Serbia top attractions.
Back to the hotel in Belgrade for overnight.

Day 5

Depart from Belgrade Airport
We came to the end of this amazing adventure.
Following the breakfast, transfer to Belgrade Airport for your flight back home, bringing back
wonderful memories and souvenirs from the Balkans.

No paying the deposits on the specified deadlines automatically means that the rooms are cancelled and HFR TURS is not anymore obliged to keep the rooms blocked.
Any cancellation must be notified in writing to HFR TURS.
