The best time to visit Algeria is during the spring (March to May) or autumn (September to November) when the weather is mild and pleasant. The temperatures during these seasons are generally comfortable, ranging from around 15°C (59°F) to 25°C (77°F) in most parts of the country.
During the spring, the landscapes come alive with beautiful blooming flowers and greenery, making it a visually appealing time to explore the country. Autumn is also a great time to visit as the summer heat starts to subside, allowing for more comfortable outdoor activities.

Remarkably adapted to the constraints of the mountainous site, on a rocky spur that spreads at an altitude of 900 m, between the wadi Guergour and the wadi Betame, two mountain torrents, the town has its own Senate and Forum. Around the beginning of the 3rd century, it expanded beyond its ramparts with the creation of the Septimius Severus Temple, the Arch of Caracalla, the market, and the civil basilica. The site has also been marked by Christianity in the form of several cult buildings: a cathedral, a church, and its baptistry are considered among the biggest of the Paleochristian period.
