Kathmandu Valley is a living museum of Himalayan civilization and culture. After exploration of Kathmandu, a short and scenic flight will take you to Pokhara. The rare combinations of snow clad peaks and snow fed lakes and rivers have helped to make the valley of Pokhara one of the most picturesque and natural attractions in the country. Chitwan, which means heart of the jungle, is one of the finest national parks in Asia, renowned for its diverse and dense wildlife and indigenous Tharu people and their culture. There are excellent lodges outside the park providing the opportunity to observe animals in their natural habitat and traditional Tharu villages.

Day 1

Arrive in Kathamndu (1350m / 4430ft)

You will be picked up at the airport in Kathmandu by our staff and take you to your hotel. Later, you will be briefed about you program.

Day 2

Guided sightseeing in Kathmandu

The rich tapestry of the cultural heritage of Nepal is synthesized in Kathmandu Valley, representing elegant architecture, refined culture, colorful bazaars and simple hospitable people.

Visit the Soyambhunath stupa on a hillock over looking Kathmandu valley. Well known as ‘Monkey Temple’ the golden spire crowning, Soyambhunath is the most ancient and mystical of all the holy shrines in Kathmandu valley. Then visit Patan – the first city of Nepal. The ancient name of Patan is Lalitpur, meaning city of beauty. The city is believed to be the first settlement in the Valley and famous for its amazing collection of fantastically carved temples and palace courtyards. You can also visit Nepali Handicraft Shop in Patan Industrial Zone for authentic Nepali souvenirs. Late afternoon, you’ll visit Boudhanath, possibly the world’s largest Buddhist stupa and a site of great veneration and Tibetan cultural. Visit Tibetan monastery and painting school.

Day 3

Fly to Pokhara (850m / 2790ft)

A short and scenic flight will take you to the beautiful town Pokhara. The lush natural beauty of Pokhara contrasts with spectacular Mountain views and tranquil lake has quietly won the hearts of travelers from around the world. After check-in at hotel, visit International Mountain Museums and walk around colorful lakeside.

Day 4

In Pokhara

Pumdikot to Peace Stupa Hike: After breakfast, take a short drive to Pumdikot (1500m / 4920ft), a site of ancient fort on a hilltop. Then take a pleasant short downhill hike to Peace Stupa. The hike is downhill and offers outstanding views of the Fewa Lake, Pokhara city and Himalayas on the background. Drive back to Pokhara for lunch. Then, visit Gurkha Memorial Museums and Seti George.

Day 5

Drive to Chitwan National Park (150m / 490ft)

Early morning, take a short drive to Sarangkot in the morning for outstanding panoramic views of Himalaya. After breakfast you will leave for Chitwan National Park. It is about 4 ½ hours beautiful drive through scenic Trisuli gorge and flat fertile land of Tarai in southern Nepal.

You will stay two nights at Chitwan village at the border of Chitwan National Park. This two days Chitwan package provides different jungle activities such as jungle safari, boat ride, jungle walk, bird watching, tribal dance program, visiting tribal Tharu village etc. The activities will be in group.

Chitwan National Park is the first national park of Nepal established in 1973 to preserve a unique ecosystem significantly valuable to the whole world. The park is UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the last populations of one-horned Asiatic rhinoceros and home of the Bengal tiger.
