Introduction

We invite you to enjoy together the best combination of biking and hiking tours in Montenegro mountains. Let’s embark on unforgettable adventure in the most beautiful areas in North of Montenegro, abundant of untouched nature, fascinating landscapes, pastures, lakes… For lovers of active holiday, this is definitely a unique combination in which, in addition to enjoying adventures on two wheels and hiking tours, you will also relax your mind and body!

In this bike and hike combination, you will discover: Kolašin city – an aireal spa, Bjelasica mountain which is characterized by three specifics and important comparative advantages: very easy passage and accessibility to the highest mountain peaks, great wealth of the forest fund and wealth of flowing water. The mountain has a very good potential for skiing, and it also has a well-known Montenegrin ski resort “Jezerine”. It is abundant with streams and rivers, of which perhaps the most important and most beautiful is Biogradska River, which flows into the pearl of this mountain Biogradsko lake (located in National park Biogradska Gora – one of three last rain forests in Europe). However, what this mountain knows most about is its fairytale lakes. Then, Durmitor – a mountain and national park in Montenegro. It is believed that the name Durmitor originates from the Celtic word that means ”a mountain full of water”. Durmitor, which, by its beauty and integrity is rare and authentic part of nature, was declared a national park in 1952. Many ornaments of the park beside the lakes, rivers, canyons, rich flora and fauna, contributed that Durmitor represents exceptional natural value and lasting inspiration of scientists and nature lovers. Žabljak – a city at the highest level in Balkan and many other interesting places that make this adventure unique!

The lake, which gets its water from the spring melting of abundant snow from the surrounding mountains, is lulled into a bay, surrounded by coniferous forests, which trees are reflected in the calm water of the lake, giving it a color you can hardly see anywhere else. Who does not want to be in a bigger crowd by the lake, can enjoy a lunch package or refreshment in the beautiful ambience and courtyard of the church of St. Georgije in Zminica.

Then, continuing through Njegovuđi village towards Žabljak city. Check-in.

Žabljak is the highest city in the Balkans. It is located at 1456m above sea level. Located in the center of the giant mountains Durmitor, Zabljak is the most desirable destination for winter tourism. Nearby is the deepest canyon in Europe, the magnificent canyon of the Tara River. This small town in the north of Montenegro is surrounded by numerous lakes and a large number of mountain peaks. Due to the natural beauties that spring up at every step, Žabljak attracts a large number of tourists during the summer. The knowledge that Durmitor, outside the winter seasons, is covered with 1500 species of different plants, is a sufficient reason to visit this town.
