Meeting and greeting by our local guide the airport. Transfer to the hotel. Free time at your disposal to explore around. Overnight and Welcome Dinner at the hotel. (D)
Our morning tour will start in Sarajevo, the capital of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which has been influenced by several cultures and civilizations over the years. On our city tour, will be visiting the Turkish Bazaar, Bas Carsija, Husref Bay’s Mosque, the Olympic Stadium and Gavrilo Princip Museum. Free time in afternoon at your disposal to explore around the city. Overnight at the hotel in Sarajevo. (B)
After breakfast at the hotel, will drive through the gorge of the Neretva River to Mostar. Here will see the remains of the Turkish quarter and the 16th-century stone bridge. The tour will continue driving to Dubrovnik and will enjoy its picturesque view on the Adriatic Sea. (B, D)
This morning will start with a walking tour of Old Dubrovnik. Will See the Rector’s Palace, Bell Tower Clock, Orlando’s Column, and Sponza Palace. Will continue with the Dominican Monastery and Franciscan Monastery with its Pharmacy, one of the oldest in the world. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight in Dubrovnik. (B)
Today we leave Dubrovnik behind and will travel to the north along the spectacular Adriatic coast to Split. Enjoy a city tour featuring the historic inner city, built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. Plus, will see the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle, and Cathedral. (B, D)
We are heading to Trogir, the center of art and artistic activities. Scholars from around the world gather here to study and paint. The tour will continue with spectacular Plitvice Lakes National Park. Have your camera ready as you take a walking tour around several of the lower lakes. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder of 16 terraced lakes surrounded by thickly wooded mountains and lush vegetation. (B, D)
Returning to the coast and travel along the beautiful bay of Kvarner to the popular resort of Opatija. After some free time, heading to the north to Postojna, home to one of the largest caves in Europe. Touring this fantastic subterranean world by miniature electric train. Afterwards will continue to Bled, beautifully set in the Julian Alps. (B, D)
A sightseeing tour of Bled features the charming town, the lakeshore, and a visit to the imposing Bled Castle, perched on a cliff high above the lake. The balance of the day is at leisure. Perhaps join an optional excursion to the small island in the middle of the lake Bled, scenic drive through the Alpine countryside and visit Bohinj and its lake named after his name. (B)
We are heading to Ljubljana today, the capital of Slovenia, and will take a walking tour. Will See the sights of the old city center, including the picturesque open-air Central Market, Three Bridges, Baroque Town Hall, and Robba’s Fountain. Then, will continue to Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. (B, D)
This morning will enjoy a city tour featuring the historic Upper Town, St Mark’s Church, St. Catherine’s Church, the Cathedral, Parliament, and the Government Palace. The rest of the day is free to explore the winding streets of the Old Town, relax in a café or you take an optional excursion to see the countryside. (B)
After breakfast, free time at your disposal. Depends on your return time, will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight. (B)
