Day 1 │BUDAPEST – ARRIVAL (D)
Arrival in Budapest by flight, meeting the local private driver . Coach transfer from Budapest International Airport to the booked hotel. Check in at hotel from 14.00 o’clock. Free time.
Dinner in hotel – Overnight in Budapest.
Day 2│BUDAPEST – CITY TOUR (B, D)
Breakfast at hotel. 4 hours Guided city tour by coach in Pest: St. Stephens Basilica, Pest City Centre, Main Market Hall, Parliament, Synagogue, Margaret Island, Andrássy Street, Opera House, Heroes Square, Vajdahunyad Castle and Citypark, Budapest Zoo. in Buda: Buda Castle District, Matthias Church, (entrance), Fishermens Bastion, (entrance), Enjoy a breathtaking Dinner curise on the River Danube and Budapest by night. Transfer from your hotel and back. Overnight in Budapest.
Day 3 │ ESZTERGOM-VISEGRÁD-SZENTENDRE (B,L)
After breakfast departure for a full day tour to the Danube Bend. Walking tour in Szentendre, the city of arts on the bank of the Danube (colorful buildings, art galleries, museums, churches, coffee shops and restaurants, souvenir shops).
Visit of the old Royal Castle of Visegrád from where you can enjoy the wounderful panorama to the bend of the river. Rich lunch at a medieval restaurant (including drinks). In the afternoon travel to Esztergom and visit the largest church, cathedral of the Primate of Hungary. The church in the place of the present basilica was founded by King St. Stephen, the first king of Hungary.
Overnight in Budapest.
Day 4 │GÖDÖLLŐ ROYAL CASTLE & HORSE SHOW PROGRAM (B,L)
In the morning drive to Gödöllő (25 km), a favorite summer retreat of the Habsburg Dynasty of the Austrian Monarchy. Visit of the Grassalkovich Palace, also called as Sissi Palace, the second largest Baroque castle of Hungary.
From Gödöllő travel to a traditional farm house and equestrian park and farm house: welcome drink and cake at arrival, visit of the farm (animal park, stables, coach musem), you will enjoy the 40 minutes horse show, possibility for carriage, lunch with Hungarian specialties and drinks.
In the afternoon travel back to Budapest. Time at leisure. Overnight in Budapest.
Day 5 │BUDAPEST – FOLKLORE EVENING (B,D)
Day at leisure. Optional tours and programs.
In the evening departure for a Folklore Evening: Dinner and 40 minutes folklore program with Hungarian music, songs and dances. After dinner enjoy Budapest illuminated from the Fishermans Bastion. Transfer to the hotel, overnight in Budapest.
Day 6 │DEPARTURE (B)
Breakfast at hotel and check-out at hotel.
Transfer to the airport. Departure as per schedule. End of program.
