Upon arrival in Zagreb, transfer from the airport to city centre. Sightseeing tour of Zagreb with a visit to Upper and Lower Town, Cathedral, Church of St. Mark, and the National Theatre. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Departure for the Plitvice Lakes National Park. This amazing complex of lakes has been under UNESCO’s protection since 1979. Enjoy the breath-taking scenery of this natural wonder that consists of 16 cascading lakes surrounded by thickly wooded mountains and lush vegetation. After the tour of the lakes, we continue our journey via Bihać and central Bosnia to Sarajevo. Arrive in Sarajevo, dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, a city tour of Sarajevo which includes a visit to Bašćaršija, oriental Svrzina house and Princip Bridge. Later on, we continue our trip to Mostar, town situated in the valley of the river Neretva. It is known for the famous Old Stone Bridge from the 16th century with the unique arch. This beautiful piece of art was demolished in the last war, but its reconstruction was terminated in 2004. Continue for Dubrovnik. Arrival at the hotel, dinner and overnight.
Morning sightseeing tour of Dubrovnik – a city-monument under UNESCO’s protection. Tour includes a visit to the Franciscan monastery, Rector’s Palace, and the Cathedral. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, we head towards Split. Upon arrival to Split, we set out on a city tour with visits to Diocletian’s Palace, Cellars, and the Cathedral. After the short rest, we continue our journey towards Zadar. Arrive in Zadar. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Short sightseeing tour of Zadar and then on towards Opatija, one of the most famous tourist resorts in the Mediterranean. This fashionable summer and winter resort have been an inspiration to many poets, writers, artists, and celebrities for over a century. Therefore, it is often referred to as a “Croatian Nice “. Arrive at the hotel, dinner and overnight.
Full day excursion to Lipica and Postojna (Slovenia). Visit the mysterious Postojna Caves, the largest caves in Europe and certainly one of the most stunning ones. Here, ride a miniature electric train to view the impressive stalagmites and stalactites. Return to Opatija. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, transfer to the Zagreb airport. End of the tour.
