DIVERSITY MOTO TOUR (9 days)

Day 1: Arriving Antananarivo
This circuit trail of 8 days offers you in a minimum of me a wide panorama of the main sites of the
North of Madagascar. This day is intended for your arrival. You can use it to familiarize yourself with your
surroundings, to set yourself up in the hotel and also to get to know the other parcipants. Like every
night, you will stay in a good, typical hotel including half board. Overnight at La Ribaudiere Hotel, 4 stars
hotel.

Day 2: Antananarivo – Diego (Flight 1:55h)
You will be picked up so early from your hotel because the only flight to Nosy Be leaves at 7:00 am. Aer
your arrival at Diego Airport, our driver will take you to the Hotel Lakana Ramena. A cool drink awaits
you there and you have me to get to know your tour guide and your fellow travelers. then the tour
guide will accompany you to a place where the motorcycle is located. You will have the opportunity to
try on your motorcycle. Aerwards, you can relax on the beach. Overnight in Hotel Lakana Ramena
Diego, 4-star Hotel.
RAMENA
Ramena Beach is located directly at the village of Ramena, 18 kilometres from Diego Suarez, at the
entrance of Diego Suarez Bay – the second largest natural bay in the world. The beach is very popular
among the day visitors of Diego town, especially on weekends. Ramena Beach is several kilometers long
with a number of hotels and small local restaurants spread along the beach. At the south end of the
beach there is mangrove vegetaon. This is a small lively fishing village in northern Madagascar. This
place is known as a popular desnaon for swimming and relaxing on the beach.

Day 3: Diego – Babaomby (75Km about )
Aer breakfast, we crossed the Diego-Suarez saltworks, the Anamakia plain and rode on the Antsisikala
beach. We drive in the seaside via the tracks of the Babaomby plain “land of zebus”.overnight in B&B at
Babaomby Island Lodge, 5 star hotel.
CAP D´AMBRE
The Cap d’Ambre is located at the northern p of Madagascar, 70 km from Diego-Suarez. Its lands and
beaches are totally virgin. The Vataraza makes the sea impassable, so it is only possible to reach its wild
beaches by sea from November to April. Cap d’Ambre is the best place for fishing lovers. It is the natural
habitat of lobsters. The dives accessible to beginners, they will make you discover the capvang and
enchanng universe.

Day 4: Cap d’Ambre – Baie du Courrier (75 km)
Aer breakfast, we are going to cross the plain of Cap D’ambre and arrive at the foot of the lighthouse.
On arrival we will visit the lighthouse and have lunch on board. Aerwards we will connue to the Baie
du Courrier and set up in the late aernoon in rusc bungalows.Dinner at Madiro Kitamby restaurant
(seafood and fish speciales). Overnight at Madiro Kitamby – standard bungalows.
BAI DU COURRIER
The Baie du Courrier offers a capvang landscape with its wild beauty and tourist aracons to sasfy
all nature lovers like mangrove swamps, salt marshes, baobabs.
It is the starng point for many tourist acvies for hiking, deep-sea fishing, snorkeling and diving.

Day 5: Windsor Castle – Cape Diego – Diego Suarez (50 km)
Aer breakfast, we climb up to Windsor Castle, which peaks at 391 meters. From here you have a
panoramic view of Diego-Suarez Bay, the Mozambique Channel and the northern p. We will drive to
Cap Diego and its old airstrip and return to Diego in the late aernoon. Overnight at Lakana Ramena
Hotel, 4 star hotel.

Day 6: Hiking in Tsingy Rouge and Ankarana (134 Km – 6:00h)
Today will be long days because we will visit 2 different interesng places. Aer breakfast we will
connue this endurance to Tsingy Rouge – named Red Tsingy. We will hike to one at a very interesng
place. The hike will take about 2:00 hours. Then we will drive to Ankarana and have lunch at Chez
Laurent Ankarana. Aerwards we will hike in Tsingy Ankarana on a colourful and bizarre landscape. The
hike will take about 4:00 h. Then we make our way to Ankify for an overnight stay. This trip will take
around 4 hours. Overnight in Ankify Lodge , 3 star Hotel.
TSINGY ROUGE
The red tsingy are located in the north of the island, about 50 km from Diego Suarez. The Tsingy can be
reached within an hour via a sand road. Compared to the Tsingy de Bemaraha in the west, the red Tsingy
are made of sandstone and not limestone and are therefore much more sensive. The reddish colour is
given to this formaon of hundreds of peaks from the red laterite earth, which is so typical for
Madagascar. The peaks of the Tsingy rouge are up to 10 meters high and shine in various shades of
red.The Tsingy rouge are located in a gorge where more and more tsingy appear due to erosion, but also
tsingy disappear due to wind and water erosion. So this formaon changes again and again and makes it
especially interesng.
ANKARANA
Ankarana is a special reserve located about 90 kilometers south of Antsiranana and can be easily visited
from there. The reserve is not very big and is primarily known for the Tsingy. Tsingy are calcareous rock
structures that rise razor sharp from the ground. Over thousands of years they have been transformed
from rainwater into their present. What can we do there? Take a hike to the green lake “Lac Vert
Discover bats in underground cave and cave systems. The 140 km long underground cave system is
covered with many prohibions, the fadys of the poor. Discover the Green River, an underground river
that only briefly rises to the surface in the canyon.

Day 7: Ankarana – Antsohihy(323 Km – 6:00h)
Aer Breakfast, we will make a “tourist” stop to visit a small cocoa farm. There is also coffee, vanilla and
ylang ylang trees. We sacrifice the purchase of some products before going back on the road.Then it goes
along the untouched nature and the lush vegetaon of the desert forest of Safari in the North coast. In
the evening we will arrive in the beauful coastal town of Antsohihy, where we will spend the night at
the Hotel Belle Vue, 4 star hotel.

Day 8: Antsohihy – Maevatanana (377 km- 6h 41min)
Aer breakfast,we drive all along the 377km of this descent towards the great North, you won’t miss any
of the enchantments that Madagascar reserves for its most curious travelers. One does not count any
more the mineral and vegetable resources of this land of abundance. Overnight stay at Le Mandarin
hotel, 3 star hotel.
MAEVATANANA
Maevatanana “the beauful village” is one of the hoest cies in the country. It has about 30,000
inhabitants. It is an important bush cab relay on the Antananarivo-Mahajanga axis, an almost obligatory
stopover. This city, which dominates the Ikopa valley, is mainly populated by Merina, Betsileo and
Sakalava. It is especially known throughout the country to be one of the centers of gold trading, and gold
collectors have been flocking there since the nineteenth century.

Day 9: Maevatanana – Antananarivo – Europa (313 Km – 6:00h)
The journey is over. Aer breakfast, on the last day of the enduro trip we cross the beauful Central
Valley on the way back to Antananarivo.In arrival Antananarivo, you will be accompanied to the airport
in the aernoon then fly on to Europe.
