INDONESIA DISCOVERY 15 DAYS

Day 1: ARRIVAL JAKARTA – HOTEL.
Upon your arrival at Jakarta airport, our guide will pick up and transfer you to the hotel for rest and overnight.

Day 2: JAKARTA FLY TO PANGKALAN BUN – ARRIVAL PANGKALAN BUN – ORANGUTAN (B,L,D)
After breakfast, check out then the hotel staff will transfer to airport for your flight to Pangkalan Bun. Upon
arrival at Pangkalan Bun Airport you will be picked up by our local staff and take you to Kumai to board on the
boat. The boat is a traditional Klotok wooden river boat size 2,25 m x 15 m for 5 people and the big one size 3,5
x 19 meter for 8 – 10 people (many past tourists of us call it “African Queen” river boat style) with a roof which
forms the upper deck where you can view the rain forest as it glides by. The guide’s team includes the boatman,
a cook and expert guide. In the peaceful afternoon we will slowly explore the quite river by the klotok while
observe the monkeys along the riverside. Meals on boat & Overnight in Rimba lodge

Day 3: ORANGUTAN EXPLORATION (B,L,D)
After breakfast board the klotok to travel up river for about 2 hours boating and then up a side creek to Camp
Leakey where the older orangutans used to be reintroduced into the rain forest. En route stop at Pondok
Tanguy, the former rehabilitation center for the new ex-captive orangutans. At Camp Leakey you will have
opportunity to trek into the rain forest with your expert guide and the forestry rangers to appreciate the flora as
well as perhaps sighting wild orangutans, gibbons, macaques, and birds. Lunch provided on boat. Afternoon visit
the feeding station to see rehabilitate orangutans are given additional foods. Meals provide on the boat.

Day 4: ORANGUTAN EXPLORATION (B,L,D).
Morning breakfast, another day at the park you will explore deeper in the jungle, trekking in the different trails,
and you may encounter different orangutans and other wildlife, tropical rain forest of Borneo, and different
beauties of nature. We can guarantee that the tropical rain forest of Borneo and its natural beauty will spoil and
make your best of life time adventure experience. Meals served on the boat.

Day 5: ORANGUTAN EXPLORATION – PANGKALAN BUN AIRPORT – SEMARANG – YOGYAKARTA (B)
Breakfast on the boat and then return to Pangkalan Bun airport for catching flight to Semarang. Upon arrival at
Semarang then we will continue drive about 4 hour to reach Yogyakarta. Rest and overnight at hotel in
Yogyakarta.

Day 6: YOGYAKARTA CITY TOUR – BOROBUDUR TEMPLE (B).
We start the trip for Yogyakarta city tour. Visit Sultan Royal Palace, Water Castle (Taman Sari), Batik Home
Industry and Silverware at Kotagede. Afterward we discover the history of Borobudur Temple, the most famous
of Indonesia’s temples. This huge Buddhist pyramid is Buddhism’s largest shrine in Indonesia, built in the 9th
century. Located north west of Jogjakarta, Borobudur was completed in the second half of the ninth century.
Borobudur was unknown and neglected for almost a thousand years, covered under thick layers of volcanic ash.
From a far Borobudur looks like a huge but ordinary stone construction. But from nearby we can see that it
consists of hundreds of wonderfully detailed statues and sculptures, representing Buddhist teachings mixed with
images of Javanese life of a thousand years ago. We will also visit the mendut temple, 2.9 km east of Borobudur
discovered in 1834. Return to the hotel.

Day 7: YOGYAKARTA – PRAMBANAN – SOLO CITY TOUR (B).
Having breakfast at hotel, before we transfer you to the airport we will visit Prambanan temple. Prambanan
temple is one of the most beautiful Hindu temples of Indonesia with such great sculptures all over the building,
the local people also called the temple as the Roro Jonggrang, the temple of the slender virgin. According to the
local beliefs, the temple was a beautiful virgin who was cursed after ignoring her promise. Afterwards we drive
to Solo and visit Mangkunegoro Palace, Antique Market and Radya Pustaka Museum then overnight there.

Day 8: SOLO – BROMO (B) approximately 10 hrs drive.
Breakfast at hotel then we drive to Bromo. On the way we will Afterward visit Bajang Ratu and Tikus temple,
Tikus temple – is located about 500 meters south east of Bajang Ratu temple. Restored to its present condition
between the years 1985 and 1989, the site comprises the remains of an ancient ritual bathing place (petirtaan)
dating from the Majapahit period. Overnight at lodge in Bromo.

Day 9: BROMO SUNRISE – SURABAYA AIRPORT – FLY TO LOMBOK
You will be wake up at 03.00 o’clock in the morning, have a cup of coffee or tea before we leave for a short drive
– 3 kilometers only – to Pananjakan. The last 1.5 kilometers you walk to the highest viewpoint in the area to see
the sunrise. But, of course, whether you are able to see the sunrise depends on the weather conditions. Then
we will descend to sea of sand to see the crater of mount Bromo. Afterwards we go back to the hotel for
breakfast and check out . Then transfer to Surabaya airport for your flight to Lombok.

Day 10: KUTA & SOUTH LOMBOK TOUR
Your first stop will be at Banyumulek Village, one of many pottery villages where clay pots are for daily use, unique in
style and high in quality is hand made. Then onto Sukerare Village, where you see a tradition of weaving in
well cared. They weave gold and silver thread to be traditional Songket and Ikat cloth with very simple looms.
Rambitan/Sade, a traditional sasak village located on the hill, 8 km from Kuta beach of lombok. This village
shows you the unique way of life of the “Sasaks” the native inhabitants of Lombok. Kuta Beach / Tanjung Aan,
both are situated on southern coast of Lombok, just 5 kilometers apart. these white sandy beaches with clear
turquoise water are perfect for swimming and sun bathing.

Day 11: GILIS ISLAND TOUR – GILI AIR (B).
Depart by car from your hotel visiting GUNUNGSARI; a daily market where people sell and buy a variety of daily
needs, PUSUK; monkey forest and rice fields, then to harbor. We start cruising 30minutes toward Gili island for
snorkeling or just sun bathing. While snorkeling you might see turtles, dolphins, lying fish, manta rays and many
other big fish. On the way home you watch hundreds of small sailing boats depart for the fishing grounds they
make a spectacular sight as the sun drops. Boat will drop to you at Gili Air.

Day 12: GILI AIR – FREE PROGRAM.

Day 13: GILI AIR – BALI –UBUD
Morning free program until appropriate transfer to the harbor to catch speed boat to Bali, arrive in Bali transfer
to Ubud area, overnight in Ubud.

Day 14 : BALI TOUR
Breakfast at hotel. Depart from the hotel at 08.30am, and then drive to visit a beautiful Taman Ayun Temple,
which is dated back from the Royal Mengwi Dynasty. Continue to Bedugul that is located on the shore of Lake
Beratan, you can enjoy the cool mountain breeze and view the Ulun Danu Temple. And then visit Candi Kuning
Fruits and flowers Market. Lunch (Own Expenses) at local restaurant. Continue to the UNESCO recognized rice
terraces of Jatiluwih. Then we will take you to visit Batukaru Temple is set in the plateau area with lush tropical
rain forest surrounds it. Finally, visit the spectacularly located Tanah Lot temple. The temple, perched on a little
rocky islet, looks superb whether delicately lit by the dawn light or starkly outlined at sunset

DAY 15 : BALI DEPARTURE
After breakfast in appropriate time, transfer to the airport for your International flight.
