Upon arrival, you will meet our English-speaking guide and transfer to Seoul.

Today, you will start the tour of Changdeokgung palace(World Heritage Site) which was built in 1405 by King Taejong, the third ruler of Joseon. All palaces in Seoul were burnt down during the Japanese invasion in 1592 and Changdeokgung became the first palace to be rebuilt in 1610. Since then, it became the primary palace for about 270 years where 13 kings including the last monarch dealt with state affairs. Forward to Jongmyo Royal Shrine[World Heritage Site] which enshrine 27 King’s ancestral tablet of the Joseon dynasty(1392-1910) and the Korea furniture museum where you can see the furniture in the era of the Joseon dynasty. Transfer to Gwangjang traditional market which opened its business on 1905.

Today, you will start the tour of Gyeongbokgung which was built in 1395, three years after the Joseon dynasty was founded. The name means the “Palace Greatly Bless by Heaven” The site of Gyeongbokgung was at the heart of Seoul and, indeed, deemed auspicious according to the traditional practice of geomancy. Before Gyeongbokgung you will try on a Korean traditional costume, Hanbok. Then, you will visit Bukchon Hanok village where you can see the traditional type of houses in the upper class of the Joseon dynasty. Forward to Changdeokgung(World Heritage Site) which was built in 1405 by King Taejong, the third ruler of Joseon. Finally, transfer to the Seoul N-tower observatory by cable car and enjoy the panoramic view of Seoul.

Day 4 Seoul / Suwon / Yongin / Seoul
After breakfast, you will transfer to the south of Seoul and visit Hwaseongfortress(World Heritage Site) which was constructed by king Jeongjo (reigning 1777~1800), the 22nd king of the Joseon dynasty (1392-1910) after moving the tomb of his father Sadoseja, Crown Prince, who had been victimized in faction struggles. Transfer to Yongin and visit the Korean folk village which is a theme park where you can watch various lifestyles of the Joseon dynasty. Back to Seoul and transfer to the restaurant to enjoy the Royal court cuisine for a farewell dinner.

After breakfast, you will have free time until checkout time. Transfer to Incheon Int’l Airport.
