Day 1: Welcome to Ivato Airport Transfer to the hotel.
You will be picked up by English speaking guide and accompanied to the hotel.
After having a long flight you can relax at the Hôtel Restaurant La Ribaudière Antananarivo, 4-star Hotel.
Day 2: Discovery of Rova Palace in Antananarivo and the beautiful Geysire of Analavory –
Waterfalls of the river Lily Ampefy – 125 Km ca. 2: 40 h
After breakfast you will visit the Royal Place Rova and then continue to Ampefy to visit the region and
the waterfalls of the river Lily. You will also visit the Geysire of Analavory. This is in a beautiful volcanic
environment in Ampefy. On the way you will observe the cultural life of Antananarivo inhabitants. They
live most of the time on the street as well as selling something. The duration of all the excursion will be
approx. 5 hours. Then you will return to the Hôtel Restaurant La Ribaudière Antananarivo, 4 star Hotel.
ANTANANARIVO
You will visit the former Royal Palace Rova of Madagascar. This is one of the famous historical cultures of
Madagascar during the colonial period, executed by the monarchs of the Kingdom of Imerina in the 17th
and 18th years and the monarchs of the Kingdom of Madagascar in the 19th.
It is located at an altitude of 1462 m on the highest elevation of the capital, the Analamanga, and is thus
almost 200 m above the quarters of the lower city.
AMPEFY
The town is located in the district of Soavinandriana in the Itasy region. Apart from a place completely
isolated from the hustle and bustle of the big cities, the village of Ampefy offers you a unique and
contrasting landscape. Located to the west of Antananarivo, the road to this region leads to the volcanic
highlands, which are very present in the region.
The region with its charming volcanic landscape looks similar to the landscape in the southeast of the
island. During your visit, you will discover the life and culture of the day of the people. The Peasants live
from agriculture are very industrious. They have planted vegetables, corn and rice in this fruitful soil,
whatever the Madagascans like to eat in everyday life, grows here in this country.
WATERFALLS LILY
One of the main attractions in the Ampefy region is a visit to the Lili waterfall. Located in Antafofo, you
can already admire the beauty of the volcanic region along the road to these famous waterfalls.
Day 3 : Antananarivo – Andasibe (140 km ca. 3: 00 H )
After breakfast we drive to the National Park Andasibe. This is the time to get to finally meet the fauna
and flora of the island. The park of Andasibe is also the home of 11 species of lemurs, the largest of
which is the Indri-Indri. The park is also the home of several bird, reptile, insect and diadem species. The duration of all the excursion will be approx. 5 hours. Overnight in Mantadia Lodge

ANDASIBE
The Andasibe Mantadia National Park was founded in 1989 and covers two areas with its 154 km2. Both
parts belonged to the same wet forest and were divided into two parts due to human activities.
You can discover different flora and fauna in this park, especially what makes the madagascar so unique.
In the Andasibe Mantadia National Park orchids, (screw) palms, the heavy precious wood rosewood and
the “peeling tree” Vakoana as well as all kinds of endemic colorful flowers grow. Three quarters of the
1200 plant species are found only here in Andasibe Mantadia National Park. Most of the trees bloom all
year round. In addition, the small rivers are home to some endemic fish and hundreds of insects,
including some exceptionally large and colorful butterflies.
The Indri-Indri is the star of the national park. Furthermore, there are day-active (Diadem-Sifaka, Black
and White Vari and the Grey Bamboo lemur) as well as night-active lemur species (the small mouse
lemur and the Aye Aye (finger animal) as well as the Fossa, the Brown Maki and the Eastern Wool lemur.
You will also encounter a variety of birds, reptiles and amphibians.
Day 4 : Andasibe – Manambato – Ankanini’ny Nofy (256 Km ca. 4: 00 H + 2:00 H by boat on the
canal Pangalane)
After breakfast we drive to Ankanin’ny Nofy. This is one of the most beautiful destinations on the island.
The names mean “the nest of dreams”. There you will spend a relaxing and refreshing time. In
Manambato we take a short break and drive to Lake Rasoabe see to visit the famous historical site of this
place.There we will also enjoy the delicious grilled fish.
So you go by car from Andasibe directly to Manambato and then you will be transported by motor boat
on the Pangalane Canal to Hotel Pangalanes Jungle Nofy near Ankanin’ny Nofy.
The nice thing is that on the way you will discover the different architectures from the house of the
inhabitants of the Betsimisaraka ethnic group of Madagascar and of course the beautiful landscapes with

MANAMBATO – LAKE RASOABE
The culture history from Manambato is that a primarily an access town for the Pangalanes Lakes, but it’s
also home to a lovely white-sand beach on the shore of Lac Rasobe.
Named after the first wife of the giant Darafify. He would have installed her on the lake to make rice
paddies, but in her absence, she would have cheated on him. The husband, mad with anger, would then have drowned her in the lake. Other fady (forbidden): wearing gold jewellery while bathing in the lake.
Otherwise, the welcome and the smile of the villagers are also legendary. Wherever you go, people will
greet you by saying “Mbarakaly e“! At the bottom of the lake, the cursed wife would have built a village
with her slaves. When the water is calm, some say they can see the falafa (traditional huts) at the
bottom of the abyss. As in all sacred places in Madagascar, it is forbidden to bring in and eat pork on the
site.
Day 5: Visite Palmaruim-Reservat – Ankanin’ny Nofy
In the morning after breakfast, you will visit Palmaruim reserve with a nature reserve on a semi-island of
50 hectares. There you will observe different species of lemurs living in natural freedom. Additionally
you will have the opportunity to see other endemic species.
The flora cannot be surpassed, as there are magnificent plants that you will only see in Madagascar, such
as the Madagascar palm, various orchids, carnivorous plants.
You will have lunch at the restaurant there and return to the hotel later in the afternoon.

PANGALANES JUNGLE NOFY HOTEL
The location, on the pebble beach of a sweet water lake is designated the camp of the Pangalanes jungle
nofy hotel. This is simply the place to de-Stress and forget the world rolled, in warm water or a walk in
the forest. The bungalows are rustic and spacious, with hot water. Most of the time the water is
amazingly calm and warm, like a bathtub when you visit during the hot season. The water depth stays
under 1 meter for at least 300 m so is great for paddling or families with small children.
Pangalanes Jungle Nofy is located at a small freshwater / brackish water source lake.
If you are looking for a place where you can relax and completely relax, this is a great option.
ANKANIN’NY NOFY
The Palmarium Reserve is called Ankanin’ny Nofy (The Nest of Dreams) and is located on the east coast
of Madagascar on 50 hectares at the edge of the Ampitabe sees Lake and the Indian Ocean on the
Pangalanes Channel. During your visit to the Palmaruim Reserves you can discover the famous wildlife
and ten species of lemurs, including the Indri, the Sifaka and especially the elusive Aye-Aye.
About ten species of lemurs that develop in complete freedom in the reserve: Indri, Sifaka, Coronatus,
Varécia, Variegata, Sifaka. A rare and endemic terrestrial and arboreal fauna and a splendid flora
(orchids, carnivorous plants, ebony, mahogany, rice trees)… the most beautiful palm trees of Madagascar, including the rarest varieties (Dypsis, Ravenea, Orania, but also Voanioala and
Lemurophoenix)
Day 6: Pangalan Jungle Nofy – Tamatave – Mahambo (133 km ca. 6:00 H )
After breakfast you will take the boat from Pangalanes jungle nofy to Tamatave. This boat trip takes
about 4 hours on the Pangalane Canal. During the trip you will enjoy the beautiful green landscape of
the Pangalane Canal. When you arrive in Tamatave, you will go to Mahambo. The distance from
Tamatave to Mahambo is 80 km and the drive along the coast takes about 2 hours.

Day 7: Beach of Mahambo – Soanierana Ivongo – Sainte Marie (82 km ca. 3:00 H )
After breakfast, we will make a short round walk like the beach in Mahambo village. After that, we will
go to Soanierana Ivongo and from there we will take the boat to Sainte-Marie Island.On the way you will
discover the beautiful landscape. Overnight in Soanambo Hotel Sainte Marie – 4 star hotel.
MAHAMBO
Mahambo has a beach and a large lagoon and vegetation. It is a small village between Tamatave and
Sainte-Marie. What makes this village special is its glory, which is revealed by its own beach suitable for
surfing, one of the most famous Grand Island dedicated to these sports facilities.
Day 8: Relax in Île aux Nattes
After breakfast we will relax to Île aux Nattes. We will go there with the boat. This is not so far from
Sainte Marie, a small island paradise with a beautiful white beach. You can swim there. We will have
lunch there and later in the afternoon we will return to Soanambo Hotel Sainte Marie , 4 star Hotel.
ÎLE AUX NATTES
The Île Aux Nattes, locally simply called Nosy Nato, is quickly becoming the new beach paradise in
Madagascar. And it is easy to understand why it has started to overtake the Nosy Bee places as the
number one beach paradise in all of Madagascar. It is a classic tropical island, with sweeping white
beaches and overhanging palm trees, a turquoise sea with waves breaking over the reef, a gentle breeze
and a lush green interior.
Day 9: Relax in Sainte Marie
You can relax on the island paradise with beautiful beaches of good sand after so long travel. What is
nice about the water has a great lagoon with turquoise water, which is perfect for diving, and sandy

SAINTE MARIE
Sainte Marie is also known as Nosy Boraha and is located only a few kilometres from the east coast of

Day 10: Sainte Marie – Antananarivo – Europe
The unforgettable journey is at an end. The flight to Antananarivo will leave at 15:00 h. After breakfast
you will have the opportunity to visit the centre of the small island of Sainte Marie. Afterwards you will
be accompanied to the airport. You will fly to Europe.
