Nepal is a unique blends of natural, cultural & jungle experiences. After exploration of Kathmandu, a scenic drive will take you to Bandipur – an enchanting mountain town. Stay two nights at Lake City Pokhara to enjoy outstanding views of the Himalayas. Then you will heads towards south and explore Tansen, another mountain town rich in culture. Explore the birth place of Buddha and Peace Garden before heading towards Chitwan National Park.
The best way to explore Nepal is by road. The entire drive is of stunningly beautiful, diverse and allows stopping at different places for seeing sights, visiting towns and villages, drink and using bathroom. The vehicle is air conditioned, comfortable and has enough space for luggage. The itinerary is made in the way that provides the right amount of drive per day allowing enough time for explore and have some time on your own.

Day 01: Arrive in Kathamndu (1350m / 4430ft): Welcome to Nepal! On arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport you will be greeted by Happy Feet representative or your guide and transferred to your hotel. Then, you will be briefed about your program and venture out if time permits. Later, head to a local restaurant for a Welcome Dinner.

Day 02: Guided sightseeing to UNESCO World Heritage sites in Kathmandu: The rich tapestry of the cultural heritage of Nepal is synthesized in Kathmandu Valley, representing elegant architecture, refined culture, colorful bazaars and simple hospitable people.
Visit the Soyambhunath stupa on a hillock overlooking Kathmandu valley. Well known as ‘Monkey Temple’ Soyambhunath is the most ancient and mystical of all the holy shrines in Kathmandu valley. Then visit Patan – the first city of Nepal. The ancient name of Patan is Lalitpur, meaning city of beauty. The city is believed to be the first settlement in the Valley and famous for its amazing collection of fantastically carved temples and palace courtyards. Patan is also famous for metal crafts. Here you can also visit the healing bowl place to watch the demonstration. Lastly, visit Boudhanath – the largest Buddhist stupa of Nepal and a site of great veneration and Tibetan culture. Visit Tibetan monastery and painting school.

Day 03: Drive to Bandipur (1030m / 3380ft) / 4 hours’ drive: A unique town situated on a hill – Bandipur is about 4 hours’ scenic drive from Kathmandu. Stop at Highway restaurant for drinks and use the bathroom. After check-in at the hotel and lunch, walk to surrounding hills and town.

Day 04: Drive to Pokhara (850m / 2790ft) / 2 ½ hours’ drive: A scenic 2 ½ hours ‘drive passing through several small towns and farm lands will take you to Lake City Pokhara where eye opening views of Himalayas welcome you. Nestled beneath the Himalayas, the lush natural beauty of Pokhara contrasts with Fewa Lake and Mountain View. Because of its tranquil lakes, natural beauty and superb scenery, Pokhara is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Nepal. After lunch, take a boat ride on Fewa Lake, then visit to the Int. Mountain Museum.

Day 05: Sightseeing in Pokhara: After breakfast, take a short drive to Pumdikot (1500m / 4920ft), a site of an ancient fort on a hilltop. Then take a pleasant short downhill hike to Peace Stupa. The hike is downhill and offers outstanding views of the Fewa Lake, Pokhara city and Himalayas in the background. Drive back to Pokhara for lunch. Then, visit Gurkha Memorial Museums and Seti George. Day 06: Drive to Tansen (1350m): Enjoy the slow and scenic drive of about 4 hours to Tansen – a beautiful hill town of Nepal. The road is winding today, but spectacular with panoramic views. The drive will relatively be slower because of winding road. Tansen is famous for its cultural heritage and beautiful scenery of mountains and valley. After lunch walk to traditional town of Tansen.

Day 7: Drive to Lumbini (150m): It is about 3 hours’ drive to Lumbini. Surrounded by lush gardens, ponds, light forests, wetlands and rivers lies the Sacred Garden of Lumbini. Located in the lowland Terai and bordering India, Lumbini is a place with a significant past and splendid future. Spend the day exploring the Ashoka Pillar and Mayadevi Temple (the exact place where the Buddha was born), monastic zones with temples
belongs to different countries of the world, World Peace Pagoda and practice a short meditation.

Day 08: Drive to Chitwan National Park (100m / 330ft): Take a beautiful drive on flat and fertile land of southern Nepal passing through highway towns. It is about a 3 ½ hours’ drive to Chitwan National Park.
You will stay two nights in Chitwan at the border of National Park. These two days Chitwan package provides different jungle activities such as jungle safari, boat ride, jungle walk, bird watching, tribal dance program, visiting tribal Tharu village etc. The activities will be in groups.
Chitwan National Park is the first national park of Nepal established in 1973 to preserve a unique ecosystem significantly valuable to the whole world. The park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the last populations of one-horned Asiatic rhinoceros and home of the Bengal tigers.
