This trip is a unique blends of natural, cultural & jungle experiences. After exploration of Kathmandu, a scenic drive will take you to Bandipur – an enchanting mountain town. Stay two nights at Lake City Pokhara to enjoy outstanding views of the Himalayas. Then you will heads towards south and stop a night at Tansen, another mountain town rich in culture. Explore the birth place of Buddha and Peace Garden before heading towards Chitwan National Park.

The best way to explore Nepal is by road. The entire drive is of stunningly beautiful, diverse and allows stopping at different places for seeing sights, visiting the small towns and villages, stop for drink and using bathroom. The vehicle is air conditioned, comfortable and has enough space for luggage. The itinerary is made in the way that provides the right amount of drive per day allowing enough time for explore and have some time on your own.

Day 1

Arrive in Kathamndu (1350m / 4430ft)

You will be picked up at the airport in Kathmandu by our staff and take you to your hotel. Later, you will be briefed about you program.

Day 2

: Sightseeing to three UNESCO sites of Kathmandu valley

The rich tapestry of the cultural heritage of Nepal is synthesized in Kathmandu, representing elegant architecture, refined culture, colorful bazaars and simple hospitable people.

Visit the Soyambhunath stupa on a hillock over looking Kathmandu valley. Well known as ‘Monkey Temple’ the golden spire crowning, Soyambhunath is the most ancient and mystical of all the holy shrines in Kathmandu valley. Then visit Patan – the first city of Nepal. The ancient name of Patan is Lalitpur, meaning city of beauty. The city is believed to be the first settlement in the Valley and famous for its amazing collection of fantastically carved temples and palace courtyards. Patan is also famous for metal crafts. Here you can also visit healing bowl place to watch the demonstration. Late afternoon, you’ll visit Boudhanath, possibly the world’s largest Buddhist stupa and a site of great veneration and Tibetan cultural. Visit Tibetan monastery and painting school.

Day 3

Drive to Bandipur (1030m / 3380ft)

A unique town situated on a hill – Bandipur is about 4 hours’ drive from Kathmandu. It is a beautiful scenic drive when you can experience natural beauty and Nepalese way of life. Stop at Highway restaurant for drinks and using bathroom. After check-in at hotel and lunch, walk to surrounding hills and town.

Day 4

Drive to Pokhara (850m / 2790ft)

A scenic 3 hours’drive passing through several small towns and farm lands will take you to Lake City Pokhara where an eye opening views of Himalayas welcome you. Nestled beneath the Himalayas, the lush natural beauty of Pokhara contrasts with Fewa Lake and Mountain View. Because of its tranquil lakes, natural beauty and superb scenery, Pokhara is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Nepal.
After lunch, visit to International Mountain Museum. Then walk around Lake side.

Day 5

In Pokhara: Pumdikot to Peace Stupa Hike

After breakfast, take a short drive to Pumdikot (1500m / 4920ft), a site of ancient fort on a hilltop. Then take a pleasant short downhill hike to Peace Stupa. The hike is downhill and offers outstanding views of the Fewa Lake, Pokhara city and Himalayas on the background. After lunch, visit Gorkha Museums and Seti George.

Day 6

Drive to Tansen (1350m / 4430ft)

Early morning, take a short drive to Sarangkot for the stunning views of the Himalayas. After breakfast, a scenic drive of about 4 hours will take you to Tansen. Situated at the lap of Srinagar Hill, Tansen is a beautiful summer resorts of Nepal with spectacular views of mountains and valleys. The place is famous for its cultural heritage and traditions. After lunch, you will do a pleasant walk to Srinagar Hill and colorful Tansen Bazaar.

Day 7

Drive to Lumbini (150m / 490ft)

Drive downhill to the flat land called Tarai, which is breadbasket of Nepal. After check-in at hotel and lunch, visit Maya Devi Temple, Asoka pillar, monasteries and Peace Stupa.

Lumbini is the place where the Buddha (enlightened one) was born. It is the place where one can experience peace regardless of any religion or faith. The Buddha’s teachings of existence of suffering and the way out of the suffering are as applicable today as it was applicable then.

Day 8

Drive to Chitwan National Park (100m / 330ft)

Take beautiful drive on flat and fertile land of southern Nepal passing through highway towns. It is about 3 ½ hours drive to Chitwan National Park.

You will stay two nights at Chitwan village at the border of Chitwan National Park. This two days Chitwan package provides different jungle activities such as jungle safari, boat ride, jungle walk, bird watching, tribal dance program, visiting tribal Tharu village etc. The activities will be in group.

Chitwan National Park is the first national park of Nepal established in 1973 to preserve a unique ecosystem significantly valuable to the whole world. The park is UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the last populations of one-horned Asiatic rhinoceros and home of the Bengal tiger.
