Welcome to Korea! You will be met upon arrival by our local representative English-speaking guide and transfer to Seoul. Accommodation at Ibis Styles Ambassador Seoul Insadong or similar class.
Today, you will start the tour of Changdeokgung palace (UNESCO Heritage) which was built in 1405 by King Taejong, the third ruler of Joseon. All palaces in Seoul were burnt down during the Japanese invasion in 1592 and Changdeokgung became the first palace to be rebuilt in 1610. Since then, it became the primary palace for about 270 years where 13 kings including the last monarch dealt with state affairs. The tour will continue with Jongmyo Royal Shrine [UNESCO Heritage] which enshrine 27 King’s ancestral tablet of Joseon dynasty (1392-1910) and Korea furniture museum where you can see the furniture in the era of the Joseon dynasty. Transfer to Gwangjang traditional market which opened its business in 1905. Breakfast / Lunch. Overnight at the hotel in Seoul and free time at your leisure.
Today, you will experience Korean culture. Transfer to Korea house and experience making Korean popular meal Bibimbab and trying on Korean traditional costume, Hanbok. Then, Making Natural Dyeing. After experiencing it, you will tour to Myeondong’s bustling fashion street. Breakfast / Lunch. Overnight at the hotel in Seoul and free time at your leisure.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to south of Seoul and visit the Hwaseong fortress (UNESCO Heritage) which was constructed by king Jeongjo (reigning 1777~1800), the 22nd king of the Joseon dynasty (1392-1910) after moving the tomb of his father Sadoseja, Crown Prince, who had been victimized in faction struggles. Transfer to Yongin and visit Korean folk village, a theme park where you can watch various lifestyles of the Joseon dynasty. Back to Seoul and transfer to a restaurant to enjoy the Royal court cuisine for a farewell dinner. Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner [Special meal: Royal Court Cuisine]. Overnight at the hotel in Seoul and free time at your leisure.
After breakfast, you will have free time until checkout time. The tour will end by transferring you back to the Incheon airport.

Opening of the Korea Visa Application Centre (KVAC) in London
Starting from January 17, 2022, the Government of the Republic of Korea will open the Korea Visa Application Centre (KVAC) in London, managed by the International Organization for Migration (IOM), to manage the Korean visa applications submitted by UK nationals and third-country nationals regularly residing in the UK.
