Next on this fantastic wine tour is a visit to the exquisite Tuscan town of Siena, famed for its medieval Palio, the zebra-striped duomo and its “holy wine” (Vin Santo) served with cantucci. From Siena, you will visit Montalcino and Montepulciano (to top Brunello and Vino Nobile producers) and you’ll sleep in a luxurious castle located at the top of a hill with dramatic views of the valley beneath. From Montalcino, you will spend two

a magnificent Renaissance palace, there are over 150,000 wines in the cellar, stocked with French, Italian and Californian
labels. After lunch, your local Florence guide will collect you from the restaurant and lead you on a unique walking tour
(about 3 hours), taking in unusual corners, hidden squares and interesting anecdotes. Guide is a young charming historian.
Today you will enjoy your last “foodie” experience of the tour, a cooking class of Tuscan cuisine. The venue is a private
Tuscan home, located in the hills above Florence. You will be greeted like old friends, and enthral in this culinary
introduction to “Cucina Povera”, traditional Tuscan “Peasants” cooking. Learn how to prepare dishes such as Pappa al
Pomodoro (tomato and bread country soup), Torta di Pere e Cioccolato (Chocolate and Pear cake). Later you
will sit down to the delicious lunch that you have helped prepare, with your cooking instructors, enjoying local wines from

Morning visit to a prestigious olive oil and wine producing estate Fattorie di Felsina, a half hour beautiful drive from the
hotel. You’ll see how the olive oil making process takes place, which is truly fascinating. An olive oil tasting will be given for
you and each guest will receive a gift bottle of this famed olive oil (one of the best in Italy).Transfer from olive groves to the
historic center of Siena, one of the noblest cities in Italy. The gorgeous 14th cent. main square, called the “Campo”, is where
the historic “Palio” races are held. You’ll receive a walking tour of the old town and have free time for shopping, or gallery
hopping. A delicious 3-course lunch will be arranged for you in a fantastic local trattoria and served with lovely Vino Nobile
di Montepulciano wine.
Full afternoon in Siena, highlights include the 12th cent. Gothic Cathedral (one of the most exceptional in Italy, with
dazzling black and white marble) and the Pinacoteca Nazionale, Siena’s best art museum, housed in a 15th century palace.
Borgo La Bagnaia, just twelve kilometers south west of Siena, where nature and history meet in perfect harmony.Itinerant
Wine tasting in the secret rooms of the Borgo. The challenge will be held by the Sommelier who will introduce a contest

The Enoteca Italiana, a public institution, unique of its kind in Italy, was founded in 1960 and will
open its doors to the Guests for a unique Tasting Lesson of chocolate and wine with the support of
a sommelier. Today you will explore the fabulous medieval villages of Tuscany, including
Monteriggioni, San Gimignano . You will leave Siena, first heading north to the darling little
hamlet of Monteriggioni, a haven for artists and locals. Have a coffee or an aperitif and enjoy a
walk around the little walled village. After your little stretch, continue on to the marvellously
preserved town of San Gimignano, dubbed the “Medieval Manhattan” for its soaring stone towers.
Enjoy lunch on your own at any one of San Gimignano traditional cafes or mama and papa run
“trattorie”, before continuing your Tuscan adventure.
