Introduction

Uganda experiences a tropical climate with two main seasons: a dry season and a rainy season.

Dry Season (December to February and June to August): This is generally considered the best time to visit Uganda, as the weather is drier and more stable. During these months, you can expect warm temperatures and less rainfall. It is an excellent time for gorilla trekking, wildlife safaris, and exploring national parks.

Rainy Season (March to May and September to November): The rainy season is characterized by more frequent rainfall, but it can still be a good time to visit Uganda depending on your interests. The landscape is lush and green during this time, and wildlife is more active. It is also a great time for bird watching as migratory species are present. However, some roads may become impassable due to heavy rains, and trekking conditions can be more challenging.
