DAY 1: WELCOME TO VIETNAM – HANOI ARRIVAL
Upon arrival, your guide will be waiting for you with a sign with your name on it. The guide will
assist you to meet up with your private driver and escort you to your accommodation in Hanoi.
Enjoy a private transfer from the airport to your accommodation. Check in at the hotel and have a
rest after the flight.

DAY 2: HANOI – BAVI ECO TOUR (B/L)
Have breakfast at the hotel then you will be escorted by an experienced English -speaking
guide, a countryside located at the outskirt of Hanoi. The approximate travel time is one hour
and 30 minutes.
Then arriving at Mr. Duoc’s house, you will be welcomed with fresh honey tea and green lentils
or lotus seeds that made by his family. Imagine a Vietnam in the old time of war through
stories of Mr. Duoc, who is not only a veteran who lives during those hard times but also a green tea expert. You will visit his tea plantation which is one of the largest in Ri village and
join with locals in green tea processing. Afterward, have a Vietnamese cooking demonstration
with another local host and then enjoy a home-cooked lunch in a lovely garden.
After that, you will wander around the village and mingling with local people. You will visit the
local craftsman who has been skilled at making conical hats from a very young age and other
workshops in the village to see how people there make tofu or shell the rice. As you meander
through the countryside you will experience the friendliness of the local people greeting you
along the way. Then join your guides for a leisurely cycling trip along the country roads.
Observe traditional Vietnamese rural life as the local people work in the paddy fields. Along
the way, watch out for a water buffalo plowing a paddy field while ducks swim across the top.
Stop at another host family for foot bathing following the recipes of Muong ethnic group and
relaxing time before embarking on your private boat for a trip along the Da river.

DAY 3: HANOI – HA LONG BAY (B/L/D)
Have breakfast then check-out of the hotel, ready for a private transfer to Halong Bay. The route
taking you across the Red River Delta with emerald green rice paddies stretching for as far as the
eyes can see. On arrival at Ha Long, you get to enjoy a cruise on the Bay to better explore the
limestone rocks and the karst grottoes.
After you are done with your exploration of the bay, it is time to enjoy an utterly delicious
seafood lunch, after which a trip to the famous limestone cave in Ha Long bay, you’ll get to spend
some time here, kayaking or swimming, so that you can get closer to the floating villages and
shops. Towards the evening, you will return to the boat for an early dinner, followed by some
time at leisure. You can opt to attend the activities taking part in the boat or relax for the day.

DAY 4: HALONG BAY – HANOI (B/L)
In the early morning, enjoy a Tai Chi sessions on the sundeck or relax with an early morning cup
of tea, coffee or juice to watch the stunning scenery unfold before you. After that, a light breakfast
will be served on board. Upon completing breakfast, continue your journey through the
mysterious caves and amongst the remote islets via local rowing boats. The breath-taking beauty
of this World Heritage region will certainly impress you. Later in the morning, return to your
main ship where brunch will be served while cruise draw closer to the mainland.
Upon your arrival to the dock in Halong Bay, disembark from your ship and you will be escorted
back to your accommodation in Hanoi

DAY 05: HOA LU – TAM COC (B/L)
After breakfast at the hotel, an English–speaking guide will meet you at the hotel at 8 AM. You
will be privately transferred by a professional driver from Hanoi to Hoa Lu, which is located
80km to the South of Hanoi. This is the ancient capital of Vietnam in the 10th century and your
guide will tell you all about the history of Le and Dinh Dynasties, who ruled this antique citadel.
Enjoy a Vietnamese traditional lunch before boarding into a private sampan to visit Tam Coc,
well-known as “Halong Bay inland” and see the beauty of the karst formations as you pass along
their base and row into one of the many caves carved through the limestone. You will then
continue with a private cycling tour through the stunning scenery of rice fields, karst formations,
river and tranquil village (around 5km). After that, enjoy a scenic journey back to your
accommodation in Hanoi

DAY 06: HANOI – FLY TO HUE (B)
Have breakfast at the hotel and enjoy free leisure time until a private cab will transfer you to the
airport for the next flight to Hue. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel in Hue and by
a professional driver with an English-speaking guide and have some leisure time to get your
energy back.

DAY 07: HUE CITY TOUR (B/L)
You will arrive to Hue train station in the morning. Your guide will meet and greet you at the
arrival gate. Then start your trip with the exploring Imperial Citadel, the residence of the Nguyen
Dynasty, which was Vietnam’s last royal dynasty. From there, you will visit The Royal Antiques
Museum, one of the first museums in Vietnam. Many collections of ancient Hue and Royal
antiques are displayed here: bronze wares, china, music instruments, royal attires and personal
belongings of the Emperor family of Nguyen Dynasty. Then continue to Dong Ba market – the
best place for cultural gifts and souvenirs.
Fueled yourself up at a local restaurant. In the afternoon you will visit the Emperors Tombs such
as Emperor Khai Dinh (1885-1925) Tomb, famous for its beauty and unique architecture style,
and Emperor Minh Mang (1791-1841) Tomb. On the way back to Hue you will have a stopover at
the Conical Hat village to see how famous Vietnamese traditional hats Non-La are produced, and
the Incense stick making village to observe how locals make sandalwood and cinnamon incenses.
After the tour, we head back to your accommodation in the city’s center.

DAY 08: HUE – TRANSFER TO HOI AN (B)
Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the hotel and free time until our driver come and transfer you to Hoi
An by private vehicle. Check-in your hotel in Hoi An and have leisure time to explore the city on
your own pace.

DAY 09: HOI AN COOKING CLASS (B)
At Vy’s Market Restaurant you will be guided around the many live food counters in this unique
first-of-its-kind interactive dining venue in Vietnam. Here you can see, smell, hear, taste, touch
and interact with many different food making processes. You can try samples from over 10
different food counters including “Banh Mi”, dumplings, pickles, weird & wonderful foods, our
rationing foods in Vietnam that were in place for 45 years and many more. You can see rice paper
being made from ground rice and water, lay out to dry on bamboo and then later roasted for rice
crackers to eat with Hoi An chilli sauce and salads, various shapes and sizes of rice noodles.
Experience our famous local noodle dish Cao Lau, see the noodles rolled out by hand and cut in
the traditional way with a long knife and then steamed over an open fire. You may participate in
many of the street food counters cutting noodles, making rice paper and wontons, using the bun
noodle machine and more. You then make 4 different recipes at our street food counters. We then
sit down to eat what we have cooked. You will receive a copy of the recipes and a Vietnamese
cooking gift to take home

DAY 10: HOI AN LEISURE DAY (B)
Today you will have free time explore Hoi An at your own pace, seeing what interests you. This
ancient town is full of Japanese merchant houses and pagodas, temples and antique warehouses.
Or just lounge about in a laid-back riverside café on the bank of the Thu Bon river.

DAY 11: HOI AN – FLY TO HO CHI MINH CITY (B)
Have breakfast at the hotel and enjoy free leisure time until a private cab will transfer you to the
airport for the next flight to Ho Chi Minh. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel in Ho
Chi Minh City by a professional driver with an English-speaking guide and have some leisure time
to get your energy back.

DAY 12: HO CHI MINH CITY – MEKONG DELTA (B/L/D)
Arrive in a charming village, hidden under hundreds of coconut palm trees. Welcome at Mekong
Home, charming familial house composed of several bungalows, set in a tropical garden and on
the Mekong river bank. Fresh coconut juice will be served, then check in your room. Take rest for
a while then depart with a member of the family for an introduction to the local fishing. Return to
the restaurant at the end of the afternoon and participate in a cooking class: “Bánh xèo” –
Vietnamese pancake made from rice milk. Dinner are ready to serve with fresh dishes include
local vegetable, ingredients and flavors cooked in local style such as: caramelized pork, fish soup,
young coconut and shrimp salad, spring roll…
After dinner, relax by lemongrass and ginger foot bath, a local therapeutic method to relieve the
pain and fatigue of the legs.

DAY 13: MEKONG DELTA TO HO CHI MINH CITY (B/L)
Enjoy fresh air while breakfast is served.
After that, start cycling trip (from 2 hours to 2.5 hours) to the island of Oc on a concrete track,
lined with fruit trees and coconut trees. On the way, pass by the local market where various of
local ingredients as vegetable, meat, fruits,.. are sold. Subject to availability, visit a workshop of
baskets made of coconut stems and a coconut processing operation. You will have chance to
interact with workshop owner on different braiding techniques. Then return to the bicycles
andcross a local Mekong River ferry to reach the island. From there, cycling on small paths dotted
with small huts hidden in lush vegetation while seeing the daily life of the inhabitants of Mekong
Delta, governed by artisanal and agriculture activities. Stop at a fish farm, to know more about
two species of catfish: ca tra (Pangasius hypophthalmus) and ca ba sa (Pangasius bocourti),
raised in ponds. These catfish are the two main species of fish production in Vietnam. Continue
biking and back to Mekong Home. Check out at around 12:00 p.m. End of the tour.

DAY 14: CU CHI TUNNELS (B/L)
Today you will be picked up by an experienced English-speaking guide to Cu Chi Tunnels, located
in the countryside near Ho Chi Minh City. Approximate travel time is one hour and 30 minutes.
The residents of Cu Chi took the war underground into a highly developed network of tunnels
that at its height stretched as far as Cambodia and included meeting rooms, kitchens and triage
areas. Imperceptible from the ground, opposing armies could roll their tanks over the bunkers
without causing damage to the tunnels below. Living conditions were harsh – in addition to
fighting the war, resident’s battled food and oxygen scarcity, venomous insects, and cramped
living quarters. Gain important insight into the prolonged struggle against invading armies, and
appreciation for the resilience and spirit of the Vietnamese people. After that, travelers can try
the delicious manioc which was the main food for guerilla-warriors in Cu Chi during the war.
Visitors can try to fire off an AK47 or MK16 or machine guns at the nearby shooting range.

DAY 15: HO CHI MINH CITY FLY TO PHNOM PENH (B)

DAY 16: PHNOM PENH (B/L)
Enjoy breakfast at hotel and visit Tuol Sleng Museum (also known as S-21 prison). This former
school was used as a prison by Pol Pot’s security forces. More than 17,000 people held at S-21
were taken to the extermination camp at Choeng Ek to be executed. Then drive to visit the
“Killing Fields” of Choeng Ek (15 km south of Phnom Penh). Between 1975 and 1978 about
17,000 men, women, children and infants (including nine westerners) were detained and
tortured at the S-21 prison and transported to extermination camp of Choeng Ek. Visit Russian
Market (Toul Tumpong Market), the Market has gained reputation for cheap clothing, a large
selection of Buddha images and woodcarvings, betel-nut boxes, silk, silver jewelry, and classic
music instrument. Enjoy Sunset Cruise on the Tonle Sap and Mekong Rivers in Phnom Penh, it
bursts into 4 branches.

DAY 17: PHNOM PENH FLY TO SIEM REAP (B)

DAY 18: SIEM REAP FULL DAY (B/L)
Have breakfast at hotel then visit Angkor Thom, the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple,
built from the late 12th century to the early 13th century by King Jayavarman VII and consists of
54 towers, the Royal Enclosure, the Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the
Leper King, then visit Ta Prohm, surrounded by jungle. Visit Angkor Wat, the largest temples in
world and covers an area of 200 hectares and surrounded by moat and an exterior wall
measuring 1300 meters x 1500 meters. Early this evening, we will take the Tuk Tuk (the most
common taxi in Cambodia) to cruise around the Siem Reap and town and and for a blessing
ceremony by Buddhist monks for happiness, prosperity and safety for your journey.
